Monarch Mimic Scores Billboard

It is a Viceroy Butterfly, not the Monarch in the Mexico tourism billboard. The Viceroy is a well known Monarch mimic that has a black band on the hind wings lacking in the Monarch. This billboard is at San Fernando Road and Cazador in the Cypress Park neighborhood of Los Angeles where it was spotted by our editorial staff.
