Dear Holly,
While we sympathize with your situation, we are not able to provide you with any identification or advice based on the images you have provided.  We are posting your request and our readership may wish to comment and provide you with suggestions.

Update: Undeliverable Mail
It seems that in her distress, Holly was unable to provide a correct email address or perhaps our response was rerouted or intercepted based on the return email we received:  “Technical details of permanent failure:  The email account that you tried to reach does not exist.”

  1. I wish we could figure it out! They do look very small and difficult to photograph, if they move too much, you can, (I don’t know if this site condones this) place them in the refrigerator (NOT the freezer) for a short time to slow them down for a photo. Just don’t leave them in there!

  2. Keep in mind that most insects have yearly cycles and many of one kind often emerge at the same time. It’s unlikely that anyone would place insects in your home, and I can’t even think of one that would be harmful enough to use maliciously in that way.

It’s more likely that they just emerged at a certain time and will be off to somewhere else before you know it.

  3. I think Holly may have bigger issues than bugs.

  4. catch some, in a jar or something, and take them to your doctor.
