As I was doing some garden cleanup yesterday, I found this little ladybird bug that seems to have no spots. I was wondering if you might have an id and some info on this as I haven’t seen a spotless ladybird bug before?

Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle

Hi Deborah,
In our opinion, your Lady Beetle looks like a spotless Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle, an invasive species that is highly variable.  This image from BugGuide supports our opinion.

I just found one in my back yard in california. Are they eating my plants? Or are the good for the garden? Lady bug with no spots except on its white head.
