Longhorn BeetlesWhile working in the yard today, we spotted this gorgeous Cerambycid Beetle resting in the eaves of the garage, probably after being attracted to the light last night. We think this [male?] beetle resembles a female Megasemum asperum posted on BugGuide, but we are not certain they are the same species. We hope either Eric Eaton or Julian Donahue can assist with this identification. After taking these photos, we released him in the bushes. He made a squeeking sound when handled.
