Hi there!
Let me begin by saying that I’ve not been overly interested in insect identification in the past, but I found myself glued to your website. I searched many other "bug sites" tonight in hopes of identifying an interesting wasp that my friend and I encountered today on a hike in the hot Central CA Valley foothills. I had no luck prior to finding "What’s That Bug?" Thanks to you I now know that we got a great view of the Tarantula Hawk (no spider paralyzing, unfortunately, just a bunch of hanging out on sunflowers). Anyway, we got some pretty good pictures and I thought I’d share them with you. Thanks for the entertaining and informative website!
Sincerely,
Terry Campbell

Hi Terry,
