Beetles I don’t think this went through the last time I sent it, if it did, I apologize. Do you have any idea what this is? I found it while wandering around Valley of Fire State Park, near Las Vegas.

Hi Donna,
This is a Death Feigning Beetle, Cryptoglossa verrucosa, though it is sometimes called an Ironclad Beetle.
