Aspslooks like a furry fish Just discovered your site! It’s very helpful, but we’re stumped on this one that looks like a furry fish. We found it happily eating a Red Bud leaf.

Hi Dee,
The Puss Moth Caterpillar also goes by the local name Asp. This name is common especially Texas. The caterpillar has stinging hairs which can cause an uncomfortable irritation.
