I recently moved into a basement apartment south of Rochester, MN. I have seen about 4 or 5 of these in the last month. I found this guy when I felt something under my bare foot. I am interested in knowing what kind of bugs these are and in searching the internet I ran across your site. Thank you for any help,

I sent the message message below to you last night. I believe that I found a correct ID for my beetle. I was able to find a picture on bugguide.net that looked like what I found. It is a big-headed ground beetle as far as I can tell.
